helfen, dies zu stoppen.
• Als ein Arzt brutal ermordet wurde; Auch die Gesundheit von
Millionen Menschen wird gefährdet. Die Gesundheit wird in
Äthiopien vernachlässigt.
• In Äthiopien wird das Wissen vernichtet.
• Volle sechs Jahre, Amhara-Studenten werden gefoltert und
Amhara-Gelehrte werden verhaftet. Amhara-Gelehrte
verstecken sich.
• In Äthiopien wird die Weisheit getötet. Ich habe die
Informationen beigefügt.
Deshalb sollte jeder Mensch mit einem Sinn für Menschlichkeit uns helfen, diese Ungerechtigkeit zu stoppen. Meine Frage ist höflich und respektvoll. Die Mutter der Amhara-Kinder ist in tiefer Trauer.

This biblical quote captures the essence of Dr. Andualem's life and legacy, as he embodied the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness in his personal and professional life.
Dr. Andualem was an academic giant, with a string of impressive achievements that marked his journey. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at Jimma University with the highest grade among his batch, and was awarded a gold medal for his outstanding academic performance. He then pursued his training in General Surgery at Bahir Dar University, where he again excelled, completing his training with the highest grade among his batch.
His thirst for knowledge and excellence drove him to pursue further specialized training, and he completed his fellowship in Hepatobiliary Surgery at Addis Ababa University. To further enhance his skills, he also underwent additional practical training in India and South Africa, demonstrating his commitment to staying at the forefront of his field.
But his academic pursuits didn't stop there. He also pursued advanced leadership training at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Bahir Dar University, earning a postgraduate certificate that equipped him with the skills and knowledge to lead and transform the healthcare and higher education sectors in Ethiopia.
His academic success was matched only by his professional achievements. He served as Director of Operation Services at Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital at Bahir Dar University, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and management skills.
As a surgeon, Dr. Andualem was renowned for his exceptional skill, compassion, and dedication to his patients. He was a true servant-leader, always putting the needs of others before his own. His passion for his work was evident in everything he did, from the meticulous care he provided to his patients to the countless hours he spent teaching and mentoring young medical professionals.
One of the most notable moments in his career was when he performed the first surgery at Tibebe Ghion Specialized Hospital (TGSH )in 2018 and become part of TGSH history. At that time, the hospital was still in its infancy, and the facilities were far from luxurious. Yet, Dr. Andualem had the audacity to take charge of this historic surgery, filling the operating room with excitement and anticipation. The then Chief Executive Director of the college and the leadership team of the hospital were present in the operating room to witness this momentous occasion from start to finish.
But what inspired Dr. Andualem most was his dream of establishing an advanced cancer surgical center in Ethiopia, where he could provide maximum quality and humane services to those unfortunate ones suffering from cancer. He envisioned a center that would not only provide state-of-the-art treatment but also offer hope, comfort, and dignity to patients and their families. His dream was to revolutionize cancer treatment in Ethiopia and make a lasting impact on the lives of countless people.
Throughout his life and career, Dr. Andualem was a paragon of professionalism and ethical behavior. He held himself to the highest standards, and his deep spiritual life shaped his moral values and guiding principles. The values of compassion, empathy, and kindness that he inherited from his parents, community, and society at large guided his every decision and action.
As we reflect on Dr. Andualem's life, we are reminded of the importance of living with purpose, passion, and principle. We are inspired by his humility, servant-leadership, and commitment to making a positive difference in the community, academic and healthcare institutions and the world.
